Lord, You wept tears of blood for me
You hung in agony so deep
Carried my sin away for good
Now I, I take this bread and wine
Remembering You love divine
You walked through fire to free my soul

Lest I forget
All of your goodness
The blood you have shed
The cross I now remember
Lest I forget…

Lord, You, wept tears of blood for me
Carried my sin away for good
Walked through the fire to free my soul
I sit in silence here
The cross I now remember
Lest I forget

-RS James

Sisters, I speak from the depths of my heart right now. . . I have been going through an emotional time. As women, we go through those, usually monthly… sometime more. Sometimes, in those moments, we forget what has happened days before as well as what has happened years before. We forget ourselves, who He transformed us into. We forget those convictions of purity and holiness;even in our thoughts. When it comes down to it, we forget Him and the blood He has shed. If we meditate on that continually we will not let our trifling emotions take the place as God in our lives.

Better a day in your courtyards than a thousand days elsewhere. Better just standing at the door of my God’s house than living in the tents of the wicked. -Psalm 84:10.

This verse keeps running through my mind. Days that are purposefully consecrated for YHWH are beautiful, no matter what the circumstances. Days centered around our wickedness in the flesh are less than desirable. We were made for Him, so when we rebel,(even in our emotions) we feel the divide. Hold on tightly to your Elohim and His goodness. . . lest you forget.
