{March 10} Challenging Femininity

Letter From The Editor
I received an email this past week about something to be done on the website from a friend of one of our writer’s, and her email just made me chuckle. It went some along the lines of “I must say I’m very honored to be emailing the head woman at FF! I’m so excited about it that I’ve hit the backspace button only about a 100 times….” Oh cute! As if I was someone as notable as other leading figures in the community of believers around the world. My goal in blogging here or on my blog was never to gain popularity or to be looked up to has some kind of role model. I am just some teenager sitting on my couch, looking at a computer screen, sharing what the Father has given to me. I am no one special.
All I wish is that whatever I write will be for the esteem of the Father – so I can further share the Good News of his Son and His Kingdom to anyone I meet. When we focus any part on “me” we take our eyes of Yeshua the Messiah, even if its for a second, and whether it’s fear or because something else has caught our attention we will begin to sink beneath the waves. We are admonished by the Apostle Paul to bring all thoughts captive to the Messiah and subjection to Truth, and this is so important to realize. If after every we thought we relayed it back to “well, what do the Scriptures say? What would Yeshua say to me for this thought? Would he rebuke me as he did Peter? Or would he say “press on, good and faithful servant”? Let us live our lives making sure we are following the Father’s instruction while abiding in his love.

I must disagree with one thing that you said “I am no one special”. You are very special to God and to those of us who enjoy reading your articles. Plus you have made an impact on many women in their quest for being femine and their daily walk with God.
I look forward to your email updates. I enjoy reading your posts and the ones from other women. I have been around a long time (62years) and I know special when I see it. God bless you.
