Winter Skin Remedies
Columnized in Beautiful You | Discussion with 3 Comments »

Most girls struggle with dry or oily skin during the winter. This problem can be very irritating and annoying during the winter months especially when wearing make-up. However, this is a problem that can easily be remedied with a few very simple tricks. Below are some remedies that I have found to be useful for treating dry skin, oily skin, and rough skin.
Dry Skin Remedy
- Wash your face with a moisturizing cleanser.
- Wet a washcloth in warm water.
- Squeeze out the excess water and place over your face for 5 min.
- In a blender, puree’ 3 pineapple slices, 1 Tbsp. plain yogurt, and 3 Tbsp. of honey.
- Smooth the mask onto face.
- Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse and pat dry.
Oily Skin Remedy
- Place a warm washcloth over clean face for 5 min.
- Mix 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. of water, ½ plain yogurt, ¼ cup of cornmeal.
- Massage into face for 1-2 min.
- Rinse and pat dry.
Rough Skin Remedy
- Mix 1 cup ground oatmeal, 1 cup of olive oil, and 1 Tbsp. of honey.
- While in the shower, massage scrub onto skin.
- Rinse and pat dry.
- Massage in rich shea butter cream or lotion.
Hopefully these skin remedies will help you to have soft and healthy looking skin for the upcoming winter months.
Blessings,
