The site looks great! I love the colours! they are so old-fashioned. It was a great idea to get a Feelin’ Feminine site for girls to come by and see what’s up. Very nice job Jocelyn.

I can’t wait to do the next challenge. I loved the “Share Your Story” one. It was fun to read all the other ones that the other girls did. :)

I’ll be checkin’ out this site often. Love ya sis.

This site is so beautiful, especially the “Cry to Jesus” section. It helped to encourage me, even though I’m already a Christian, to commit myself to the Lord, every day. Not just every now and then, but all the time.

Is there a way the blog rolls can be automatically updated? as in when a new person enters the blog roll it will rolled into what we already have linked into our sidebars. I noticed that some folks ( while out visiting) blog roll for the FF was shorter on those that have joined since it all started, I have a list of quite a few folks but when visiting some of the first few that signed up at the begining they only had a few of the names listed in their blog roll.

  19. I very much agree with the views of this site. Where I don’t wear a skirt EVERY day, I wear a skirt MOST days, and it is all in an effort to be more feminine. It is like a lost “art” almost. I believe that being feminine is such a big part of who we are as women and as choice daughters of a Father in Heaven. Thank you for such a beautiful website.

Your site looks great. I have visited one other time, but didn’t really look around enough to sign the petition or drop a note.

Thanks for your dedication to encouraging other young ladies to biblical modesty and femininity. No matter what stage you are in, in your journey to purity and modesty, you need support, encouragement and gentle accountability.

Though I’ve been working on this for many years now, there are still hard days, and frustrating days, and days that I wished it just didn’t matter, and that makes the support so important. It’s for those harder days that the fight really is being won or lost.

So thank you again, and I look forward to searching out your site.

    Dear Jocelyn,

Your site is very much appreciated and a wonderful encouragement. For myself it was a breath of fresh air from the Lord. I found your blog through Ladies against Feminism and have enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work that the Lord has laid on your heart. Modesty and being feminine is very important to my family and I love to learn of other ladies and families who feel the same. Thank you again for letting the Lord work through you in this.

Thank you so much for this site, it has changed my life totally and really helped encourage me to be the feminine young lady the Lord wants me to be. I took your challenge awhile back but thought I’d never make it a whole week wearing skirts and dresses only. But, after seven days, I found I liked dressing and acting like a proper lady! I felt so much better about myself, was more confident and people seemed to actually respect me more than they ever did before. So I went for one more week, then another, then a month and before I knew it 3 months had gone by and just yesterday, I bagged up all my old jeans and slacks and left them in the garbage. I’m now committed to always dressing like a lady in skirts and dresses everyday and will never wear pants again. God bless you for the important work you are doing here!

I am really very impressed with this site. You have presented your ideas intelligently and beautifully. I don’t know what difference this site will make to me in the long run, but even now it has changed my prejudice. I never thought the whole skirts and dresses all the time thing was something so meaningful. Thank you for sharing.

  36. Mrs. James F. (Rachel) says:

Hello, I found your site one day because about a year ago I learned the importances of dressing like a woman and being modest.

I am 21 and a traditional Catholic, this is a little then the “main stream” Catholic as in we simply do everything the old fashioned way, basically picture us stuck in the past a hundred years ago lol.

When I was growing up I was the “Main stream” Catholic and women can wear pants and not cover their heads in Church and so forth so I never really knew, plus I am ashamed to say I hardly ever attended Mass.

As I grew older my family found this traditional Catholic Church and I noticed that you had to cover your head in the Church and wear a skirt to at least the bottom of your knees, nothing tight or slits ect.

Again I’m ashamed to admit that as I had just started going to Mass I thought I only had to do this at Church and no where else :-/ yeah….

Then I started to go to catechism because my current husband and I were going to get married and it was required. I must say I had always loved God and my religion but I was so ignorant! Soon I learned how horribly I had been dressing and God gave me the chance to change!

Sometimes I find it so hard to find modest and girly clothes, most people don’t understand it and even would laugh but I knew it was right and was deterimined.

I found your site looking for other women like me and have found so much comfort and help in your site! Thank you for taking the time and caring about helping women out.

1 year of dressing feminine and modest and getting better and better at it!

Thank you so much, please keep up the good work!

  37. Mrs. James F. (Rachel) says:

Sorry wanted to clear up some things in my last post and I couldn’t edit anymore lol.

I mean to say “A little different then the main stream Catholic” had a typo there.

Second catechism is Catholic’s “Sunday school” incase some didn’t know, not sure :-) and while at our “Sunday school” my Priest informed me how dressing and acting modestly as well as making sure you’re behaving as a Christian no matter what you’re doing in life and all that that involes.

And THRIDLY I said my “current husband” not implying I’ve been married before, we believe one marriage your whole life, I just meant at the time we weren’t married and now are lol.

Sorry for the second post just reread the first one and realized I kinda messed it up :-p lol

I have to apologise in a way because I was so pleased to find the site that I have not yet had the pleasure of investigating it all. With of course the result of first impressions.Of course it is said you only get one chance to make a good first impression and may I say you have succeeded brilliantly.Well done. I most certainly will investigate it further and of course I am now subscribed and the petition signed..
My heart and mind conspired to divert me, a continous hazard for writers and for Poets.Blessings on you all.David
